Licenses and Certification

All technical staff at the Advanced Water Systems pass rigorous training through our Clean Water University©,
and are required to have the following certifications and licenses:

Within 12 months of start of initial training, Section A:

Water Quality Association Certified Water Specialist CWS-1

California Dept of Health, Water Treatment Plant Operators License Grade 1


Additionally, our technical staff are given pay increases and additional benefits for achieving:

Water Quality Association Certified Water Specialist CWS-II through CWS-!V

CA Dept of Health Water Treatment Plant Operators License Grade 2 through Grade 3

As of July 1st, 2004, we have staff with WTO licenses from Grade I through Grade II. Currently, staff water technicians at the Advanced Water Systems have been working in the water treatment field for an average of 10 years. We have Certified Water Specialists, from CWS-1 right through CWS-IV, the highest level attainable.
